This scenic concept for Rodelinda is set in 7th-century Lombardy, reflecting the opera's historical context. The design features vibrant, exaggerated period-style walls that revolve to transform the setting, adding a dynamic visual element to the production. One side of the walls showcases rich, opulent patterns inspired by the era, while the reverse side reveals a painted forest, facilitating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor scenes. This versatile design captures the drama and elegance of Rodelinda, enhancing the story’s emotional landscape.
