Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad echoes Homer's famous epic "The Odyssey" but is reexamined from the perspective of Penelope. From beyond the grave, Penelope takes us on a journey back into the world of Odysseus. She reclaims her story and the stories of the women around her.
In this modern take on an ancient classic, the set was designed to echo Penelope's past through silhouettes of Ancient Greek architecture. Concrete and steel textures are used to bring about the story's timelessness.
