The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On
For The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On, I created a nostalgic high school gymnasium setting that evolves from the 1960s to the 1970s, mirroring the timeline of the characters’ reunion. Drawing inspiration from classic 1950s gymnasium features, including rectangular backboards on basketball hoops, the design captures the charm of a bygone era. Each act reflects the transition in style, color, and mood from one decade to the next, immersing the audience in the shared memories of the Wonderettes’ journey and evoking a strong sense of nostalgia.
