Abstract

This project focused on the revitalization of the iconic Park and Shop tower in Concord, CA. Working with Contra Costa Properties, we crafted a modern, vibrant redesign that preserves the structure’s mid-century roots while creating an inviting aesthetic for the community. The signage was updated to reflect contemporary tastes, incorporating clean lines and bold colors, while maintaining the historic character of the shopping center. Collaborating closely with Gretchen Ugalde, we ensured the new design enhances the visibility of the site and contributes to the thriving commercial district.
