For Company, I set out to encapsulate the raw and dynamic atmosphere of 1970s New York City, a city alive with grit and edge. Inspired by the unpolished aesthetics of the era, the set mirrors Bobby’s internal conflicts and the vibrancy of his relationships. The design’s juxtaposition of intimate and chaotic elements underscores the emotional depth of each vignette, creating an immersive environment that embodies the intensity and complexity of both the city and the play’s characters.
