I’m excited to return to Okoboji Summer Theatre as the scenic designer for three productions in the 2025 season. This summer’s lineup spans romantic comedy, psychological thriller, and classic musical theatre—offering a dynamic range of storytelling and design challenges in a place that continues to feel like a creative home.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be returning to Okoboji Summer Theatre as the scenic designer for three productions in the company’s 2025 summer season. Okoboji continues to be a place where rigorous storytelling, collaborative process, and hands-on theatre-making intersect, and I’m grateful to once again be part of that environment.
This season’s lineup offers a compelling range of styles and theatrical challenges:
Returning to Okoboji always feels like coming home. The summer stock model encourages efficiency, creativity, and collaboration—values that strongly align with my own design practice. Designing multiple shows in rep demands clarity of concept, adaptability, and a deep respect for the storytelling needs of each production.
I’m looking forward to collaborating with the artists, students, and faculty who make Okoboji Summer Theatre such a vibrant creative space. This season promises a rich mix of genres and theatrical voices, and I’m excited to help shape the visual worlds that bring these stories to life onstage.
