About
For The Man of La Mancha, I embraced a found-object aesthetic to align with the director’s vision of actors performing in a warehouse space. This approach transformed the set into a collection of repurposed items, giving the environment a raw, improvisational feel that reflects the themes of imagination and resilience at the heart of the story. The design’s unconventional materials and textures reinforce the play’s exploration of idealism and grit, inviting the audience to experience the timeless tale of Don Quixote in a new, immersive light.
